Cannot Record Both SHIFT Keys in the Profile Editor

SYMPTOMS

You are unable to record the simultaneous keyboard presses of both SHIFT keys when recording keystrokes in the Microsoft SideWinder Profile Editor.

CAUSE

Microsoft Windows 95 only detects one SHIFT key when both keys are pressed at the same time.

The combination of key presses is used in some MS-DOS based games.

WORKAROUND

Try to press the SHIFT keys in quick succession (one immediately after the other) rather than pressing them at the same time. This method MAY make it possible to record a keystroke when you press both keys.
