The SideWinder 3D Pro for Macintosh supports two modes: Joystick mode and
Mouse mode. You set the mode by moving the switch at the base of the
joystick (above the cord). Position one (one dot) is Joystick mode; select
this mode to use the SideWinder 3D Pro as a standard joystick. Position
two (two dots) is Mouse mode; select this mode to use the SideWinder 3D
Pro as a mouse. Calibrate the SideWinder 3D Pro in Joystick ModeTo calibrate the SideWinder 3D Pro for Macintosh in Joystick mode, use the following steps:
Calibrate the SideWinder 3D Pro in Mouse ModeSet the SideWinder 3D Pro to Mouse mode by moving the switch to the position with two dots.The joystick is calibrated in Mouse mode when you move the switch from position one to position two. NOTE: Make sure that nothing is touching the joystick when the switch is moved. If anything is touching the joystick, it may not be calibrated correctly. Additional query words:
