SideWinder Profiles Are Associated with the Wrong Image

SYMPTOMS

Your SideWinder game device profile may be associated with the wrong game device image in SideWinder Profile Activator.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you do not add the SideWinder game device profile to the game device you want.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, use the following steps:

1. On the taskbar, double-click the SideWinder Profile Activator icon.



2. If the SideWinder Profile Activator Getting Started dialog box appears, click OK. If the SideWinder Profile Activator Getting Started dialog box does not appear, continue to the next step.



3. In the Devices column, click the image of the game device that you want to associate with the profile you are adding.



4. On the File menu, click Add Profile.



5. In the list of files, click the file you want to use for your profile, and then click Add.



6. To activate the profile, click to select the check box in the Active column to the left of the profile you want.



7. Quit SideWinder Profile Activator.
