SideWinder 4.0: Action Assigned to Button Is Not Played Back Correctly

SYMPTOMS

When you press a button on one of the game controllers listed at the beginning of this article, the actions you assigned to the button may not be played correctly.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

• You assign the actions to a button on the game controller.
• You assign the button that contains the assigned actions to another button on the game controller, and then attempt to use the second button to play back the actions.

RESOLUTION

To prevent this issue from occurring, do not assign a game controller button to the actions for another game controller button.
