SideWinder: Unable to Record Certain Keystroke Combinations

• Microsoft SideWinder Dual Strike, version 1.0
• Microsoft SideWinder Game Pad Pro, version 1.0
• Microsoft SideWinder Precision Racing Wheel, version 1.0
• Microsoft SideWinder Game Controller software version 4.0

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to program macros on the Recorder tab, you are unable to program the following keystroke combinations:

• ALT+TAB
• CTRL+ALT+DELETE
• CTRL+ESC
• CTRL+TAB

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because these keystroke combinations are reserved for use by Microsoft Windows.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
