SYMPTOMS

When you view recorded game actions in the Microsoft SideWinder Game Controller software, the ENTER, SHIFT, and SPACEBAR keystrokes may be truncated and unreadable.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a video adapter based on the NVidia RIVA 128 chip set is installed in your computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, install the NVidia RIVA 128 video driver included with Microsoft Windows 98.
