This article describes how to assign a program to a Hot Key on the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Pro.

To assign a program to a Hot Key:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.


  2. Double-click Keyboard.


  3. On the Hot Keys tab, under Select a Hot Key, click My Computer or Calculator.


  4. Under Select a Program, click Custom, and then click Select.


  5. Select the program you want the Hot Key to start by using one of the following methods:


    • In the Start box, type the path and file name of the executable file for the program you want the Hot Key to start.


    • Click Browse, browse to the location of the executable file for the program you want the Hot Key to start, click the file, and then click Open.

  6. Click OK, and then click OK again.


  7. Close Control Panel.
