MNK Pro: Internet Hot Keys Do Not Function Properly

SYMPTOMS

The Internet Hot Keys on the Microsoft keyboards listed at the beginning of this article may not function as expected.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you use the keyboard with America Online (AOL) versions 4.0 or 5.0.

NOTE: When the Microsoft keyboards listed at the beginning of this article were tested with AOL 4.0, the Internet Hot Keys functioned correctly. The Internet Hot Keys no longer function correctly because of changes made to later versions of the AOL software.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, install version 1.1 of the Microsoft IntelliType Pro software from the following Microsoft Web site:
