Mouse Pointer Jumps When Trying to "Grab" Border

SYMPTOMS

When you try to "grab" the border of a window, the mouse pointer may jump as much as one-half inch from the border. The pointer still appears as a split arrow, and you can still resize the window.


CAUSE

This problem can be caused by a poorly written video driver.


RESOLUTION

Change the video driver to VGA, or contact your video board manufacturer for an updated video driver.
