SUMMARY
Mswheel.exe may not be loaded in the registry, and may not be run when you
roll the IntelliMouse wheel. This occurs if the operating system has
built-in support for the IntelliMouse wheel.

The Mswheel program is designed to unload itself if it detects that the
operating system has built-in support for the wheel. The only operating
systems with built-in support for the wheel are Microsoft Windows NT
Server version 4.0 and Microsoft Windows NT Workstation version 4.0.
The Mswheel program runs in the following versions of Microsoft Windows:
