IntelliPoint: Mouse Does Not Work After You Remove IntelliPoint Software

SYMPTOMS

After you remove the Microsoft IntelliPoint software, your mouse buttons may no longer work.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if both the following conditions are true:

• You upgrade your operating system.



• You remove the IntelliPoint software after you upgrade your operating system.

RESOLUTION

To prevent this issue from occurring, remove the IntelliPoint software before you upgrade your operating system.
