Mac IntelliMouse: Buttons Do Not Work Properly in InputSprocket Games

SYMPTOMS

When you use a Microsoft IntelliMouse to control your movement in a game, the mouse buttons may not work properly.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the game supports Apple Computer's InputSprocket technology.


RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, disable the IntelliPoint software in Control Panel for the game:

  1. On the Apple menu, click Control Panels.


  2. Double-click IntelliPoint.


  3. Click Add.


  4. Locate and click to select the game in which the IntelliPoint software does not work properly, and then click Choose.


  5. Click to select the Disable IntelliPoint features for the selected application check box.
