IEAK--After Lockdown "Include All Network Paths" Not Disabled

SYMPTOMS

Using the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK), a system administrator may notice that after locking down the Security Tab settings (or using Profile Manager) the "Include all Network Paths" (UNCs) check box is not disabled for users installing Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.01. The "Require server verification (https:) for all sites in this zone" setting may not be disabled either.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer Administration Kit service pack that contains this fix.
