- Improved rendering of Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) images
when you are using a 16-color palette. JPEG images (.jpg files) are now
displayed properly when a 16-color palette is used.
- Improved Java virtual machine (VM). The Java VM now provides better
integration with the communications components of Windows 95.
- New margin syntax for style sheets.
- Improved installation process. The Setup program now supports
specifying the folder into which you want to install Internet Explorer
if a previous version of Internet Explorer is not found.
- Improved compatibility with the Novell NetWare 32-bit client.
