When you install Internet Explorer 3.x, the executable file for Internet
Explorer 2.0 is renamed to Ie20.exe. It remains in the Microsoft Internet
folder.
To run Internet Explorer 2.0 after installing Internet Explorer 3.x,
double-click the Ie20.exe file in the Microsoft Internet folder. If you
first installed Internet Explorer by installing the Internet Jumpstart Kit
included with Microsoft Plus! for Windows 95, the Microsoft Internet
folder is most likely located in the Program Files/Plus! folder. If you
first installed Internet Explorer from an online source (such as the
Microsoft Web site or The Microsoft Network), the Microsoft Internet
folder is located in the folder in which you chose to install Internet
Explorer. If you are unsure of the path to the Ie20.exe file, follow these
steps:
- Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.
- Type ie20.exe in the Named box, and then
click Find Now.
- Start Internet Explorer 2.0 by double-clicking the Ie20.exe file.
For convenience, you can create a shortcut to the Ie20.exe file on your
desktop. Use this shortcut to start Internet Explorer 2.0. For information

When you have both versions of Internet Explorer installed, you cannot
modify the dialing properties for Internet Explorer 2.0 by right-clicking
the Internet Explorer 2.0 icon. Internet Explorer 2.0 uses the dialing
properties that are specified in Internet Explorer 3.x. To change the
dialing properties for Internet Explorer 2.0, you must change the dialing
properties for Internet Explorer 3.x by right-clicking The Internet icon
on the Desktop, clicking Properties, clicking Connection, and then
changing the settings under Dialing.
