SYMPTOMS

When you are attempting to install ActiveMovie by running the Amov4ie.exe file, you may receive the following error message:

Setup was not able to register the ActiveMovie Control.

After completing Setup, reboot your computer and run Setup again. If the problem persists please contact your ActiveMovie distributor.

CAUSE

This error can occur if Internet Explorer 3.0 is not installed before you attempt to install ActiveMovie.

RESOLUTION

Install Internet Explorer 3.0 before attempting to install ActiveMovie.
