SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to install any of the Microsoft Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1 versions listed above, you may receive the following error message: If you click OK, the installation process does not continue. CAUSEThis behavior occurs if you attempt to install Internet Explorer for Windows 3.1 from the root folder of a drive. RESOLUTIONMove the contents of the self-extracting Internet Explorer installation file to an empty folder other than the root folder, and then install Internet Explorer from that folder. For information on how to move a folder, start File Manager, and search Help on moving directories.
