To cause the "Welcome - Microsoft Internet Explorer" screen to appear, follow these steps in Internet Explorer:

On the View menu, click Internet Options.

On the Advanced tab, click the "Show welcome message each time I log on" check box to select it, and then click OK.

Quit Internet Explorer, and then restart your computer.

NOTE: If the "Show welcome message each time I log on" check box is not available on the Advanced tab, follow these steps (these steps do not add the "Show welcome message each time I log on" check box to the Advanced tab):

Click Start, and then click Run.

In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK:
res://ie4tour.dll/welcome.htm

To cause the "Welcome - Microsoft Internet Explorer" screen to appear when you start your computer, click the "Show this next time you log in" check box to select it on the Welcome screen.

To add the "Show welcome message each time I log on" check box to the Advanced tab, use Registry Editor to follow these steps:
