SYMPTOMSWhen you try to print a document that contains Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) to a Hewlett-Packard printer, the page may not print correctly. Also, the printer may not respond, eject a blank page, be very slow, or print a partial image or one that does not match the contents of your screen. RESOLUTIONTo work around this issue, use the appropriate method: Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 or LaserJet 5 SeriesIf you are using a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 or LaserJet 5 series printer, change to the Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 4 or 4M printer driver that is included with Windows 3.x. Hewlett-Packard LaserJet Series Printers Before LaserJet 4If you are using a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet series printer before the LaserJet 4, copy the information on the screen, paste it into another program such as Microsoft Word, and then print the information from that program. For information about how to print the contents of the screen, click Start, click Help, click the Index tab, type print screen, click Display, and then double-click the "To copy the window or screen contents" topic.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 and 4.01 for Windows 3.1.
