Problems Printing Multiple Copies of Web Page or Mail Message

• Microsoft Internet Explorer version 3.02 for Windows 95

SYMPTOMS

When you try to print multiple copies of a Web page you are viewing with Internet Explorer version 3.02, or multiple copies of an e-mail message using Internet Mail version 1.0, only one copy may be printed.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are printing to a Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 500-series or Canon BubbleJet 4000-series printer, or you are using printer driver that does not support multiple copies (such as the Generic/Text Only printer driver).

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, it may be possible to print multiple copies by clicking the Collate check box to select it in the Print dialog box.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer 3.02 and Internet Mail 1.0.
