SYMPTOMS
If you are running Windows 98, McAfee WebScanX may not be able to block
access to servers or Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. You may notice this
issue if you are watching the Status window's Internet filter. Although
programs are detected, scanned, and counted (if this option is enabled),
no Internet sites may be counted or displayed in the Last Item window.
CAUSEWebScanX 3.1.2 is not compatible with changes made to the Winsock.dll file in Windows 98. RESOLUTION
Upgrade WebScanX to version 3.1.6 or later. To do this, use either of the
following methods:
