SYMPTOMSWhen you are using Internet Explorer 3.02 with a proxy server, if you update image data in the files on your Web server, Internet Explorer may display only the cached data on the proxy server instead of the latest images. Specifically, this behavior may occur if you change image data content but do not change the image file name. CAUSEWhen you click Refresh in Internet Explorer, the browser sends an HTTP GET request for the Web page with a "pragma=no-cache" entry in the header. Additional GET requests for the image data are sent without the "pragma=no-cache" entry. RESOLUTIONTo work around this issue, disable the cache in the proxy server. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer 3.02 for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0. Additional query words:
