When you try to change your Home page in Internet Options, you may be
unable to type in the Address box, and the following buttons may be
unavailable:
CAUSEThis issue can occur if you are using a customized version of Internet Explorer that was packaged using the Internet Explorer Administration Kit (IEAK). RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control PanelTo work around this issue in Internet Explorer Version 5, delete the following registry key, and then restart Internet Explorer: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel\HomePage Additional query words: 4.00 98 grayed greyed out gray
