SYMPTOMSWhen you install personal certificates from a certificate server, you can install and use only 16. If you install a 17th certificate, all the certificates in your personal certificates list disappear, and the functionality for all the personal certificates is lost. RESOLUTION

guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry
Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\SystemCertificates\My\CertificatesQuit Registry Editor and then restart your computer. The remaining certificates reappear in the list of your personal certificates. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article.
