SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to install the 16-bit version of Internet Explorer for Windows NT 3.51, you may receive the following error message: When you click OK, Setup stops. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the Shdocvw.dll file is present in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, move, delete, or rename the Shdocvw.dll file in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder, and then run Internet Explorer Setup again. For information about moving, deleting, or renaming a file, please consult the online Help in Windows. MORE INFORMATIONThe Shdocvw.dll file is the 32-bit version of the file used by Internet Explorer for Microsoft Windows 95, Microsoft Windows 98, or Microsoft Windows NT 4.0.
