Incorrect Icon Displayed with File Transfer Protocol Folders

SYMPTOMS

When you view a Web page by using the File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Folders feature, system icons are displayed for executable (.exe) files instead of the normal .exe icon.


CAUSE

This behavior occurs to decrease the amount of time needed to display files when you are using the FTP Folders feature.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.


MORE INFORMATION

When you view a .exe file locally, for example, after you download it to your computer, the correct icon is displayed.
