SYMPTOMSWhen you log on to your Microsoft Windows NT-based computer for the first time after installing Internet Explorer, and user profiles are enabled, the following folders may not be created in the user's profiles folder:
CAUSEThis issue can occur if the default user profile on your computer was copied from an existing user's profile. When you do so, personalized settings for Internet Explorer are not created. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
