JPEG Image May Be Displayed Incorrectly

SYMPTOMS

When you view a Joint Photographic Experts Group (JPEG) image in FrontPage Express, the image may appear to be cropped or truncated.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you are viewing a Progressive JPEG image. FrontPage Express does not support Progressive JPEG images.


RESOLUTION

You can view these images in the full retail version of Microsoft FrontPage.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.


MORE INFORMATION

Even though the JPEG image may not appear correctly in FrontPage Express, it does appear correctly when viewed with Internet Explorer.
