Shortcut Keys Do Not Open Internet Explorer Menus

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to open an Internet Explorer menu by pressing it's shortcut key (for example, you press ALT+V to open the View menu), the menu may not be opened.


CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the same shortcut key is assigned to an object or control on a Web page.


STATUS

This behavior is by design.
