SYMPTOMSWhen you view related Web page links by clicking the Show Related Links command on the Tools menu and you then attempt to close the Related Links pane by clicking the Show Related Links command again, the pane is not closed. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONThis behavior is different from Explorer bar behavior. When you click to select an Explorer bar on the View menu, a check mark is added, and the appropriate Explorer bar is opened in the left pane. When you want to close the Explorer bar, you can click the Explorer bar on the View menu to clear the check mark. When you click Show Related Links on the Tools menu, a check mark is not added or removed indicating that the Show Related Links pane is opened or closed. Instead, a check mark is added or removed from the Search command on the View menu because the related links are displayed using the Search Explorer bar. Additional query words:
