SYMPTOMS
When you connect to a secure Web site that requires security certificate
keys, you may be unable to connect. This occurs because you cannot
import the certificate key into the authentication dialog box. CAUSEThis behavior is caused by a buffer limitation on the amount of certificate data sent to the dialog box. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer service pack

A change was made to reallocate the buffer space needed to accommodate the number of certificates in the registry before displaying the certificate information in the authentication dialog box.
