Problem with DHTML Behaviors and Table Cell Alignment

SYMPTOMS

When you are using dynamic HTML (DHTML) behaviors in Internet Explorer in conjunction with the table layout fixed property, the referring HTML page is not displayed as it should be.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer 5 release that contains this fix.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.

  • Remove the table layout fixed property.


  • Remove the percent height on the table.


  • Remove the align=center property on the table.
