16-Bit Internet Explorer 4.01 Cannot Upload Files as an Attachment to Outlook Web Access

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to upload a file as an attachment to a Microsoft Outlook Web Access message, you may receive a general protection (GP) fault error message in Urlmon16.dll.


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next 16-bit Internet Explorer 4.01 service pack that contains this fix.
