Cannot Delete Folder from the Folders Bar

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to delete a folder from the Folders bar, the folder may not be deleted.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you press the DELETE key on the keyboard or click Delete on the File menu.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, right-click the folder, and then click Delete.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
