Internet Explorer Cannot Display Euro Currency Symbol on HTML Pages

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) pages containing the euro currency symbol in Internet Explorer, the pages may not be displayed correctly.


CAUSE

When you view HTML pages with a font other than Times New Roman, you may see square boxes instead of the euro symbol. The euro symbol is not supported in HTML documents viewed in Internet Explorer 3.02 or earlier.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, upgrade Internet Explorer to a later version. For information about obtaining a current version of Internet Explorer, please visit the following Microsoft Web site:
