Cannot Sort Files by Size in Temporary Internet Files Folder

SYMPTOMS

When you try to arrange the files by size in the Temporary Internet Files folder, the icons may not be arranged.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you point to Arrange Icons on the View menu, and then click By Size.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, click the Size column header in Windows Explorer to arrange the files by size.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
