SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to install Internet Explorer version 4.x or 5, you may receive the following error message: If you restart your computer and attempt to install Internet Explorer again, you receive the same message. CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you have the Novell Zenworks program installed with the Zenworks Application Launcher service. (Disabling the service does not resolve the issue.) RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, uninstall the Zenworks program, install Internet Explorer, and then reinstall the Zenworks program. Or, uninstall the Zenworks program, reinstall it without the Zenworks Application Launcher service, and then install Internet Explorer.
