SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to save a Web page using the "Web Page, complete" option in Internet Explorer, you may receive the follow error message:

Error Saving Web Page.

This Web page could not be saved.

CAUSE

This problem can occur when you attempt to save a Web page created using Excel 2000.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use Excel 2000 to edit or save the document.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
