Monarch Report Explorer Files Open the Content Advisor Tool

SYMPTOMS

If you use the Datawatch Corporation Monarch Report Explorer program and you try to open a .prf file, the .prf file may open the Content Advisor tool instead of the Monarch Report Explorer program.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you install Internet Explorer after you install Monarch Report Explorer. NOTE: The Content Advisor tool in Internet Explorer associates Platform for Internet Content Selection (PICS) Rules files with the .prf extension. The PICS Rules files are used to configure your PICS Ratings.
