Print Preview Button Does Not Work with Excel File in Internet Explorer

SYMPTOMS

In Internet Explorer 4.x, if you click a hyperlink that points to a Microsoft Excel file, and then click the Print Preview button, nothing happens. This prevents you from viewing the entire workbook in Print Preview mode.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
