SYMPTOMSWhen you use the task scheduler in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, some scheduled tasks may not run. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you schedule a task to run within one minute of the time you schedule the task. NOTE: The task scheduler in Internet Explorer 5 runs once a minute to run scheduled tasks that are in the queue for that time. If you schedule a task after the start of a minute, the task is queued to run at that time the next day. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this
specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer service pack
that contains this fix. http://www.microsoft.com/support/supportnet/overview/overview.aspThe English language version of this software update should have the following file attributes or later:
