Microsoft Date/Time Picker Control Is Not Initialized

SYMPTOMS

The Microsoft Date/Time Picker control may not be initialized correctly when more than 20 controls of various combinations are used in one Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) page.

The value of the Date/Time Picker control cannot be set using the following syntax:

dtpicker1.value = DateValue("September 14, 1999")
No error message is generated if the control is set to null by using the following syntax:
dtpicker9.value = Null


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. If you are not severely affected by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Internet Explorer service pack that contains this fix.
