Quick Launch Toolbar Icons Wrap Below Taskbar

SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade to Internet Explorer 5.01, the icons on the Quick Launch toolbar may wrap below the icons that are completely displayed. Also, underlines may be visible beneath the icons on the Quick Launch toolbar, although these are actually the tops of the icons that have wrapped below the visible icons.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you chose a large scheme on the Appearance tab in Display Properties.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, change your scheme to the Windows standard scheme, or to a scheme that uses small fonts.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article.
