SUMMARYWhen running Java applets, it may be useful for you to see messages that are printed using System.out.println. In Internet Explorer 3.x and 4.x, output through the System.out stream is stored in a file on the client hard-drive. In Internet Explorer 4.01 you can also view this output in the Java console. MORE INFORMATION
You need to enable Java logging in Internet Explorer. A Javalog.txt file
is created in your %Windir%\java directory. This log file contains
all the information that is sent to the System.out stream. To enable Java
logging select Options (or Internet Options if using Internet Explorer
4.x) from the View menu. Then click the Advanced tab and Enable Java
logging (or Java logging enabled if using Internet Explorer 4.x).
