SYMPTOMS
If you attempt to install one of the programs listed earlier in this
article on a computer running Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, you may receive
one of the following error messages:
You need to have Administrator permissions to install this program.
You must have administrative rights to install Encarta 98 Encyclopedia when running Windows NT. Setup cannot continue.
Encarta Virtual Globe 1998 Edition requires Administrator privileges to install. Please log on to this machine using an account with administrator privileges, then restart Setup.
Setup will now exit.
You must be an Administrator to install Bookshelf 99 on this computer.
You must be an Administrator to install Encarta Encyclopedia 99 on this computer.
You must be an Administrator to install Encarta Virtual Globe 99 on
this computer.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the account you are using does not have
administrative privileges. You must have administrative privileges to
install these programs under Windows NT 4.0.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, log in to Windows NT using an account with
administrative privileges, and then install the program.
