SYMPTOMSThe MSDN Library favorites are lost. CAUSEThere are three known causes of this problem:
RESOLUTION
Currently, there is no way to migrate favorites from one installation of the MSDN Library to another; however, the favorites information is still preserved even when an MSDN Library is uninstalled. The previous version of the MSDN Library that contained the favorites can be reinstalled in order to see the favorites again. But to use these favorites in any other MSDN Library installation, the favorites must be manually found and re-created on that new version of the MSDN Library.
