SUMMARY
The External Mail program (EXTERNAL.EXE) included with version 3.2 of
Microsoft Mail for PC Networks introduces overlay files to control
different forms of communication. These files are loaded into extended
memory and introduce the need for EXTERNAL.EXE to be stored on the
local computer.
By loading this part of the process into extended memory, more postoffices can be controlled by the External Mail program, thus getting around the memory constraints of version 3.0 of the External Mail program. Additional query words: 3.20
