CONN: Schedule+ for Windows Cannot Save File Attachments

• Microsoft Mail Connection for PC and AppleTalk Networks, version 3.2

SYMPTOMS

Microsoft Schedule+ for Windows users can receive Schedule+ meeting request messages from Schedule+ for AppleTalk Networks users by means of version 3.2 of the Microsoft Mail Connection for PC and AppleTalk Networks.

If a Schedule+ for Windows user receives a meeting request that contains a file enclosure from a Schedule+ for AppleTalk Networks user, the Schedule+ for Windows user cannot access the enclosure by means of the Windows Mail client.

RESOLUTION

A Schedule+ for AppleTalk Networks user should not include file enclosures in a meeting request message if a Schedule+ for Windows user is invited to the meeting.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 3.2 of the Microsoft Mail Connection for PC and AppleTalk Networks. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
