Microsoft provides a replacement for the OUTPOST.EXE file that is included
with version 3.0 of Microsoft Mail Gateway to MHS.

To download the updated fileThe following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center. Click the file name below to download the file:Mhsout.exeFor more information about how to download files from the Microsoft Download Center, please visit the Download Center at the following Web address http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspand then click How to use the Microsoft Download Center. After you download MHSOUT.EXE to a clean directory, run it (by typing mhsout at the MS-DOS command prompt) to extract the contents of the file. You should receive the following files: OUTPOST.EXE (73,643 bytes, dated 06-06-95, 10:44 P.M.) To replace your OUTPOST.EXE fileAt the MS-DOS command prompt, type the following and press ENTERcopy <path>\outpost.exe <destination>where <path> is the drive and directory where you ran the self extracting MHSOUT.EXE file and <destination> is the drive and directory where your OUTPOST.EXE file currently resides. For example, if you ran the self extracting file from the TEST directory on drive D, and your OUTPOST.EXE file is located in the MAILEXE directory on drive C, type the following command: copy d:\test\outpost.exe c:\mailexe Additional query words: 3.00
