SYMPTOMSExternal.exe for DOS and External.exe for OS/2 may display the incorrect date for the years following 1999. In various locations (in logs and on screen), the year may be displayed incorrectly. For example: the years 2000 through 2009 display as 10, the years 2010 through 2019 display as 11, the years 2020 through 2029 display as 12, and so on. Or in some locations, the date 01/01/2000 is displayed as 01/01/100. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
